Great day on a really nice pontoon. Only 1 other couple probably because it was midweek and non holiday season so that was quite nice, felt like a private cruise. Having watched other boats all week, I definitely would go back to Arusan because the others seemed packed and that’s not the vibe I was looking for. Other boats looked to be having a good time but I’ll take lounging on the sea hammock in peace! Snorkeling the antilla wwii era ship was simply amazing. I feel like a lot of reviews are underselling what an amazing spot it is. The ship is absolutely enormous and in great condition. We also got to swim next to a turtle! Overall a great experience and probably the best value on the trip.
Had a really nice couple hours in Aruba on the catamaran. A good deal for sure. The crew were friendly. The dinghy a bit hard for some other travelers though.
I’ve been on half a dozen snorkel boats in the Aruba and this is hands down my favorite. Smaller, more personal service. Quieter, chiller (this is the opposite of the Jolly Pirate) - total of 6 of us a morning trip. friendly crew, easy going, much more attentive service with 6 people. open bar. 2 great dive sites. will be back
Amazing experience. Snorkeling over a sunken ship was a first for us. The fish are plentiful. Saw a few sea turtles. The crew was fantastic. This is an experience that our family will never forget.
The snorkel was great and the staff were very attentive. They took us to 2 sites, one was a wreck very close to the surface and the other had some coral. They served drinks and had snacks. Everything was good. The only issue was getting to the catamaran. It was moored in the ocean, and you took a zodiac to get there. The zodiac was not docked properly (staff claimed the owner refuses to give them the second rope to dock) and it kept getting away from the pier. One person had to jump into the zodiac or fall in very shallow water. She hurt herself. Staff were nice about it, but I would not recommend it unless you can balance on a small craft.
The snorkel trip was great. The crew was very welcoming. The only problem was getting to the boat. You had to take a Zodiac to the boat. The zodiac was not tethered properly so one of the group almost fell into the water and hurt herself getting on. Apparently the owner does not want to use both tethers to secure it. Otherwise it was a good trip. I would not recommend it for anyone who has issues with balancing in a small raft.
