Types of Fishing: Nearshore Fishing, Offshore Fishing
Fishing Techniques: Light Tackle, Heavy Tackle, Trolling, Jigging, Deep Sea Fishing
Targeted Species: There is a variety of roaming pelagics commonly targeted on Aruba deep sea fishing trips.
DO NOTE that this does not apply to Billfish – our team practices a strict ‘catch and release policy for these species.
Your target fish includes Marlin (Blue), Marlin (White), Sailfish, Wahoo, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Bonito, Barracuda (Great), and King Mackerel (Kingfish), Tuna (Albacore), Tuna (Blackfin), Tuna (Yellowfin), and Amberjack.
Depending on the season, you can also try jigging for Jack, Grouper, and other bottom fish.
Fishing Calendar: Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi-Mahi, Barracuda, Wahoo, Amberjack, Kingfish, Bonito, Black, and Yellowfin Tuna. Sailfish are basically known to be in the area during the months of September through January, but peak in October and November.
Blue Marlins and White Marlins are usually in the area from September until April.
Still, we might catch up with them occasionally during other months of the year. This last is very rare and therefore we cannot predict this for these other months.
Wahoo on the other hand is in the area the whole year but peaks out during the months of December, January, and February.
The other species we get pretty much all year. Depending on the season, we also jig for Jacks, Groupers, and other bottom fish.
